The redesign of Zymurgy Brewing Company's website focused on creating a responsive, visually engaging platform that better reflects the brewery's quirky, local vibe. For this project Figma was the required tool to create the website. The new design for this project prioritizes usability across both mobile and desktop devices, making it easier for visitors to navigate and engage with the site. One of the key features is a dynamic, visually appealing beer menu that can be easily updated without requiring extensive technical knowledge. Additionally, the website incorporates a rotating banner/hero section on the homepage to showcase Zymurgy’s latest events, beers, and promotions.
Branding enhancements were a significant part of the redesign, with efforts to expand upon Zymurgy's existing logo and typefaces to create a more cohesive, recognizable visual identity. The website integrates essential information like taproom hours, contact details, a menu, and event listings, all presented in a way that aligns with the brewery’s fun, community-focused vibe. To support their social media-driven marketing efforts, options for Facebook and Instagram integration were explored, allowing for seamless event promotion and real-time updates. Overall, the redesign simplifies website management while improving user experience, better aligning with Zymurgy’s growing needs.
