Zymurgy

Zymurgy Brewing Company’s website redesign is a class project from Fall 2024, the project focused on improving the brewery’s online presence. The goal of the assignment was to design a responsive website prototype using Figma, ensuring the layout worked effectively across desktop and mobile devices. The redesign emphasizes clear navigation and an engaging visual style so visitors can easily explore the site and find key information.

One of the main features developed for this project is a visually engaging beer menu that can be easily updated without requiring extensive technical knowledge. This allows the brewery to quickly change beer offerings while keeping the design consistent and easy to read. The homepage also includes a rotating hero banner designed to highlight upcoming events, featured beers, and promotions, helping draw attention to new content and encouraging visitors to stay engaged with the site.

In addition to usability improvements, the project focused on strengthening Zymurgy’s branding. The redesign expands on the brewery’s existing logo and typefaces to create a more cohesive visual identity throughout the site. Essential information such as taproom hours, contact information, menu items, and event listings are organized clearly so visitors can quickly access what they need. This prototype was not required to be fully functional since it was part of a beginner class but I ended up learning Figma enough through the class to make it almost fully functional.
