Murder Mystery

This one-page website was designed for a web design assignment that required us to create a fictional event site with at least two user interactions. I chose to develop an immersive murder mystery party centered around the suspicious death of a high-society figure, Sebastian Vale. The site introduces visitors to the event’s premise and characters, and includes three interactive tasks: a character quiz, an RSVP form, and an accusation submission where users guess the killer.

The design blends atmospheric visuals with functional UX, using dramatic typography, a moody color palette, and intuitive scrolling to guide users through the experience. Built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the site balances storytelling with usability, ensuring that interactive elements feel seamless within the narrative flow. The result is an engaging, self-contained experience that invites users to participate in the mystery while demonstrating thoughtful interface design.
