Banner Ads

This project, completed in fall 2024, focused on designing web-based banner ads to promote the ethical use of AI. The assignment provided an opportunity to practice creating advertisements within standard web formats while using animation to enhance users’ aesthetic experiences. I chose the timely societal topic of ethical AI usage, targeting creative professionals interested in understanding how to collaborate with AI responsibly. The ads aimed to educate and persuade this audience to adopt ethical practices, emphasizing originality and informed decision-making in their work with AI.

The project began with research to define goals and identify the needs of the target demographic. Wireframes for leaderboard (728x90) and half-page (300x600) ad formats were created to plan content placement, sequencing, and animations. Using CSS transitions and interactivity, the final ads featured high-fidelity designs with dynamic, visually engaging elements that reinforced the campaign’s message. Delivered through the Banner Ad Viewer Template, the ads were contextualized in an interactive environment, showcasing their effectiveness. This project highlights my ability to combine strategic thinking with technical skills, resulting in purposeful, polished advertising designs.
